Do you allow your Inner Child to come out in you sometimes?
If yes, then I'd like to congratulate you because it is so important to stay connected with your Inner Child. And not only that, your Inner Child needs nurturing on a constant basis. What better way to do that, than having play dates with actual children?
If you don't bring out your Inner Child from time to time, then I would strongly suggest you start doing that.
For me, that happens when I have play dates with my granddaughter Sofia. She brings out the best in me. I even started roller skating with her again. We are having just so much fun together and I feel like being a child again.
If you don't have grand children, then look around where there are children you could hang out with. They will teach you how to enjoy yourself again:
- They don't fear being judged.
- They are not shy being silly in public because it is innate to them to have fun.
- They won't tell you, not to laugh or not to be too loud and outspoken.
- They don't laugh at you but they laugh with you.
- They enjoy your company and appreciate you and treat you like one of them.
I guarantee you that hanging out with children fills you with a sense of lightness.
You feel like being in a bubble where
- you are safe,
- you can be 100 % YOU without having to hide behind a mask,
- you forget the world around you for a while,
- you get to laugh so much that your tummy mussels hurt,
- there are no problems,
- there is no difference in skin colour,
- all that counts is living in the moment.
You are asking, how this is possible?
Just connect with children and surrender to their playfulness, innocence, wonder and curiosity. Just do it. Get dirty, be silly and have fun!
Your Inner Child will thank you for it and reward you with Love and Trusts coming your way. Don't miss out on discovering YOU again. After so many years wearing a mask, having to function, having to be strong and wise and whatever burden you put upon yourself.
Don't you think, it is about time for you to reconnect with your Inner child to be FREE again?
