One of the questions I get asked most often is, how were you able to turn your situation around?
Here is how I did it: I was at the bottom of my game, frustrated, scared, playing the victim and the blaming game and not seeing any future for myself. My world became so dark and empty and that negative cycle repeated itself over and over again. I remember looking at my children one day, a cold shower of fear running down my spine. In that moment I made a decision that something had to change. I knew I had to initiate that change by taking action. I wanted to regain control over my life and be proud of myself and be able to love myself again for what I had achieved.
Only too often we are not even aware why we do what we do. And it is the awareness that is the first key to unlocking the door to your own healing. Only a month ago, I helped a lady uncover why she always kept attracting partners who were using and controlling her. I hear from her pretty much every week now about aha moments that keep showing up in her life making it so clear why she was stuck in that repetitive pattern.
I wish I had someone like that by my side to guide me into the right direction. That would have saved me many unhappy years and a lot of tears and heart ache.
Instead I would have had the exact structure, systems and skills, needed to help me create transformational change that I didn't think was possible for myself.
